Armed Forces Day

Though I try not to blindly accept the "perfections" of America, I don't think that it would be saying too much to state that I believe America's military forces are the best in the world. I have been proud to watch our troops swiftly prepare for action after the attacks on 9/11, and even prouder to watch our brave and patriotic men and women continually sacrifice their comforts and lives to protect this country.

It’s not enough to simply say “I support the troops”; to slap a yellow ribbon on our car or stick our name on a list of supporters. Today is a good time to remember why we support our troops, and contemplate how we can do a better job at it. As our military forces swiftly move into battle to fight against our enemies, we as well need to have the same fighting mentality as we seek to reveal truths to our fellow Americans.

We can learn a lot from our military; to stand strong and not waver in the face of evil. To set our goals and rules clearly before us, and teach ourselves to act accordingly. To test ourselves, and not be afraid to go the extra mile that will provide us with the strength to face the struggles in the future.

For my freedom, my country, and the extraordinary men and women of the United States Armed Forces that defend them, I will always be grateful.

May God bless our troops!

I hate to say this,
but your starting to get annoying.
Why don't you go start your own blog and voice your opinions there.
Oh!
That's right,
Becasue there's no audience for that kind of garbage.
So instead you have to go spreading it where its not wanted.

Sorry... I'm not going to let you clutter up my blog with your long and silly arguments. Goodbye!

Of course you won't. Can't let anyone speak an alternate point of view, now can we.

Oh, and newsflash. Your local senator, Chuck Heigal, a Republican....is now against the war. Our side is winning.
