The one good reason... why we declared WAR
All those who hate me (God) love death. Proverbs 8:36
Do terrorists hate our God? Do the secularists hate God's law? Do the liberal media reporters denounce it? Do the communists persecute those who love it?
This is one SOLID reason why those who sin, persecute others, murder, hate, and make war do it all...
THEY HAVE NOT THE PROSPERITY, PEACE, HOPE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: LOVE, THAT CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST.
And that, ladies and gentleman, is why we are at war.

Umm, we're actually at war for oil. and to gain a stronghold in the middle east to fight this "supposed war on terror" - though last I checked "terrorism" is an ideology and you can't bomb an ideology out of existence.
Actually, we are at war to kill all the people who believe in the "ideology" of terrorism, so they don't kill you in your office or in a shopping mall or at a football game. We are at war to defend the free people of the United States of America, so you have the freedom to make bleeding-heart comments like the one that precedes mine.
War for oil...are you all still spouting about that? Have you seen gas prices?? Tell ya what...you introduce me to a soldier whose job it is to pump oil out of the ground and ship it to the US, and I will introduce you to the Easter Bunny.
Heeeee's Baaack! (Mr. A., that is)
The war for oil story always makes me snicker.
Oh, poor MDG - believes he's saving me from anything. In case you weren't aware there are 19 "potential terrorists here in NYC" today...who are planning on bombing our subways. So thanks for fighting for Iraq's freedom, but my office is just as exposed as before.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9614242/
Its all about oil, friends. Or, rather, Halliburton/KBR contracts. That's probably more accurate.
I wish we could get some oil from this war.
We're fighting for their freedom, at the very least we should get $0.99 per gallon gas.
And what is this garbage about us giving them hundreds of billions of dollars for rebuilding?
It's not like that oil is worthless. They should pay every dime back.
Yeah, sure, it's all about Halliburton...
Is there any chance you could back that up? WITHOUT copy/pasting a piece of Daily Kos propaganda?
http://enr.ecnext.com/coms2/summary_0271-10107_ITM
well, here's their contract of the week.
Thanks. Now can you tell me how many other corporations in the world do what Halliburton does?
Exactly...and if there's no war, there's nowhere for Halliburton and their subs to DO their work....and there's no extra $$$ in Dick Cheney's pocket. Oh, well, except when Hurricanes hit our country...Halliburton got real lucky there. More no-bid contracts!!
Oh, by the way MDG - in addition to the terror threat in NYC today.... here's one at the football game from last week...
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/football/ncaa/10/01/oklahoma.explosion.ap/
and the more people that you kill who believe in the ideology.....it just spawns even more of those people.
Oh please! Are you seriously trying to tell me that Dick Cheney owns stock in Halliburton, so he convinced Bush to start an international conflict that would create work FOR Halliburton? While you're at it with the conspiracy theories, just go ahead and lecture me about Illuminati and the little green men inside the earth.
If Cheney was going to do stuff like that, then why'd he sell so much stock in Halliburton back in 2000-2001? And how exactly does he succeed in fooling Bush, Congress, and our "unilateral" coalition to join him? Sounds just a bit far-fetched...
its not farfetched, my friend. Cheney was the CEO of the company.... he still owns massive amounts of stock which he holds in a "blind trust" He is still getting paid every year by Halliburton as part of his separation package.
Its not a conspiracy, its just the way the world works. And yes, Cheney has everyone's ear.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,912515,00.html
"its not farfetched, my friend."
Spoken like a true conspiracy theorist.
"Cheney was the CEO of the company.... he still owns massive amounts of stock which he holds in a 'blind trust' He is still getting paid every year by Halliburton as part of his separation package."
And this proves the war is just a moneymaking scheme how? Isn't it just as likely that we went to war independent of Halliburton? So far, all you've done is present circumstancial evidence (typical of paranoid conspiracy theories), and that is not going to prove your case. Maybe your next point will be better...
"Its not a conspiracy, its just the way the world works."
Good luck finding a conspiracy theorist who WON'T tell you that...
"And yes, Cheney has everyone's ear."
Let me guess, he's the Antichrist too, right? And Elvis lives?
Elvis isn't dead, he just went home!
Neofacsist, given the fact you are both homeschooled, and 16, you really have A LOT to learn about the world.
You seem bright though - so i'm sure you'll pick things up.
Cheney will likely be indicted next week anyway, maybe that will cause you to give up your "blind faith"
no, actually quite educated. by actual professional educators of various political leanings. Not my parents who decide they'll just impress their opinions and prevent me from being exposed to the realities of the world.
Come on guys; be diplomatic.
Anyone who cannot discuss matters in a respectful, diplomatic way is obviously NOT very educated; as far as maturity goes. Effective communication goes a lot farther than rude comments that spite out anger and resentment. If you truly care about effecting my way of thinking, then you had better catch my attention by intelligent, diplomatic comments.
Otherwise... I'M NOT LISTENING!
P.S. Anyone who thinks we only went into Iraq for oil is obviously not informed on past events... America was not about to let the terrorists get away with 9/11 (the day they killed 3,000 Americans) and THAT is one of the reasons we chose to go into Iraq. Oh boy; maybe I should just write a post on this...
Be diplomatic, Jen.
Hey Jen - I'm not sure what your "teachers" taught you, but the hijackers of the 9/11 planes were primarily from Saudi Arabia. NOT Iraq. And we all know Al-quaeda was training in Afghanistan NOT Iraq. So get over this false suggestion that Iraq has anything to do with 9/11. Read the 9/11 Commission Report. its available at your local bookstore. No connection to Iraq.
"Neofacsist, given the fact you are both homeschooled, and 16, you really have A LOT to learn about the world."
Like the fact that we went to war for oil we'll never see, and that justice and security can never be motivations for war? Oh yeah, Cheney is the most powerful, persuasive man in the civilized world...
"You seem bright though - so i'm sure you'll pick things up."
Well thank you. You, in turn, seem well informed on current events - I'm sure you'll learn how to make proper judgments based on that information in time.
no, actually quite educated. by actual professional educators of various political leanings."
I don't think you want to get into a comparison of our educations... It would really be a mistake. If you must, though, first go read "The Seven-Lesson Schoolteacher," an essay by John Taylor Gatto. It's a brilliant essay, and everyone should check it out. A simple Yahoo search should help you find it.
"Not my parents who decide they'll just impress their opinions and prevent me from being exposed to the realities of the world."
What realities? The reality that life consists of rote memorization and regurgitation of facts, in a completely age-segregated environment? The reality of flourescent lighting? The reality that the "geeks" are the ones who will always be the losers? Reality has no bearing on the public school system (or even many private schools).
Oh, and if my parents had simply impressed their opinions on me, I wouldn't have scored a 1370 on the old SAT as a sophomore (or was it Freshman?), nor would I have taken up online debating as a hobby. Thanks for making that generalization though; it's always nice to see someone blindly taking what they're spoon-fed by the media and teachers' unions.
yes, the SAT score does show you have promise....just as soon as you escape your confines of the controlled environment. college will be great for you. I suspect you'll do quite well and realize that the structured protective environment your parents built around you is just a facade. Life is much more fun when you give up on Jesus and all that Christian nonsense. You will see...
www.juancole.com
this is actually an excellent website, from a religion/history professor at the University of Michigan. His commentary is far smarter than mine. And his comments are also NOT part of the "mainstream media" Check him out.
"yes, the SAT score does show you have promise....just as soon as you escape your confines of the controlled environment. college will be great for you. I suspect you'll do quite well and realize that the structured protective environment your parents built around you is just a facade."
Try reading and responding to what I said, if you can; I understand that your education did not prepare you for that, but I can't just let you get away with making vague claims about what I will someday learn, and pretending that you've somehow proven your point. Either back up your claims with logic or facts, or stop making those claims.
Oh, and for the record, I'm already taking some college classes... not that that would matter to you, or anything...
"Life is much more fun when you give up on Jesus and all that Christian nonsense. You will see..."
Yes, then I can be happy like you, believing in every conspiracy theory that is presented to me. I look forward to the day when I have to struggle just to convince myself that I'm holding my ground in a debate against a 16 year old. I can't wait until I begin to view morality as evidence of a sheltered life, and true intellectual freedom as slavery to Juan Cole's worldview. Yes, much more fun indeed...
Anon-
I resent your attacks against homeschoolers. I was a public school kid, but hold no disdain for homeschooling. My niece is homeschooled, and she is learning SO MUCH more than her public school counterparts.
If I remember correctly, Jen's father is or was a professor. University of Nebraska, I believe. So, I believe that he is eminently qualified to instruct is children.
As for your theories of why we are fighting this war, anybody can concot those kinds of conspiriacy theory in their basement, building on half-truths and speculation.
Back to the topic at hand...
As for terror threats in the US, Homeland security is primarily the responsibility of the assorted Law Enforcement agencies, the DHS, the National Guard (when not being employed in a Federal status), and the intelligence community. There was a threat on the subway, however credible, but countermeasures were able to be emplaced before a strike occured, as of yet.
As for the OKC suicide bomber, lone attackers are very hard to stop. I am sure he was not on any counter-terror agency radar. Al-Qaeda, however, is a very large, complex network of extremist terrorists, and THEY are who we are fighting.
The terrorists now are attempting to incite a civil war between religious sects. It will not work. The Iraqi people understand their aim, and I do not believe it will happen. Now, I said "war between religious sects". Remember our operations in the Balkans? Trying to stop ethnic cleansing? Tell me, who was POTUS when our involvement commenced? That's right, the Liberal poster-child, William J. Clinton. Could you compare Sunni vs Shia and Kurd violence to the former Yugoslavia? Even you would have to agree.
We liberated a country from a dictator who:
A: Agreed with, financed and sheltered terrorists. Zarqawi was here before we invaded. No Al-Qaeda in Iraq? Think again.
B: Treated anyone who was not Baathist Sunni as sub-human beings and murdered them in the hundreds of thousands.
Now, after the liberation, we are securing this country in order to give them freedom. Ensuring that mass murder, genocide, and 'ethnic-cleansing' does not occur here. Because it is the right thing to do.
MDG - I'm glad you are SO SURE of your mission...you buy every single line from the Bush administration hook line and sinker. CLinton never took the country to a war the rest of the world didn't believe in. Clinton never took us to war based on lies. I'm not Clinton fan, believe me, but he never took action that wasn't called for. The terrorists in Iraq have only grown since you've been there.
let me recommend a website to you, along with a couple recent books by your fellow soldiers which might tell a little different story that yours:
www.justanothersoldier.com
Just Another SOldier, Jason Hartley
My War, Colby Buzzell
Last True Story I Ever Told, John Crawford
Love My Rifle More than You, Kayla Williams
Inside the Wire, Erik Saar
Good points, MDG. I would like to also suggest that the only effective way to stop shadowy terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda is to eliminate the people who fund and supply them. People like Saddam Hussein.
Who knew Halliburton was such an effective anti-terrorism organization?
"I'm not Clinton fan, believe me, but he never took action that wasn't called for."
I can think of an... *ahem*... action or two that weren't called for...
well he didn't send 2000 American soldiers to die in a country that had no connection to 9/11....and he didn't kill off the tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis in the process.
And I couldnt' care less about Clinton's sex life. I hope he got blow jobs from everyone on his staff...it doesn't have a damn thing to do with running the country. in fact, I hope Bush is getting blow jobs too. Loosen him up a bit.
just trying to make you guys see other points of view.
its the same thing you're trying to do too.
I'm done now...neither of us are going to change our minds. which i suppose is one thing we can all be happy about...the freedom our country offers us to disagree.
"well he didn't send 2000 American soldiers to die in a country that had no connection to 9/11"
I think we've already dealt with that point. And you lost.
"And I couldnt' care less about Clinton's sex life. I hope he got blow jobs from everyone on his staff...it doesn't have a... thing to do with running the country"
If a man can't control his own... then how can he govern a nation?
"in fact, I hope Bush is getting blow jobs too. Loosen him up a bit."
Oh, is this a little more of that enlightened "fun" you spoke of earlier? What a happy life you must lead.
Now it's time to recap.
Anon came in here wailing about Dick Cheney and Halliburton. He then backed up his conspiracy theory by telling me that it's not really farfetched. Not very convincing...
He then went on to slam homeschoolers. Brilliant! Only one problem: Again, he has no proof, and his various prejudices were shown to be baseless.
Then our anonymous friend attacks Christianity with similar results.
Now, in a final act of desperation, he ignores at least two of my previous comments, and defends Clinton's sex life, stating that "I hope Bush is getting blow jobs to." And he still expects us to take him seriously...
Mmm, roast troll... Pass the salt.
"which i suppose is one thing we can all be happy about...the freedom our country offers us to disagree."
Now that, I can agree with.
i cited multiple articles for you, as well as primary sources from soldiers. I suggest you read all of them.
neofascist? will you be joining the armed forces? Army, or Marines for you?
No Anon, not unless the draft is re-instated (in which case I would go, and go gladly). I support the cause of the war though I am not, shall we say, militarily inclined.
Of course, we all know that that's fine; no one here would subscribe to the juvenile "well, you sure like war so you should join the military, you stupid Republican" argument, would they? That always seemed like a witticism straight out of middle school, on par with the "Well if you love it so much, why don't you marry it" suggestion. And we all know that's just silly, right?
Dad isn't a Professor- I forget his real title. He's some sort of director for the department of international studies at UNO. I used to read Colby Buzzwell's blog. He had some good stories, but lots of profanity and negativity. I don't think I would read his book.
its easy to be negative when you are killing people every day. profanity is simply the way the army works. ask your buddy mdg about profanity.
www.justanothersoldier.com is an ever better book. this guy tells it like it is. He blows Buzzell out of the water.
lots of funny pictures too. might want to check it out.
Yes, i do believe if you wholeheartedly support the military you should enlist. prove how much you believe in this war. that's alright, you're probably not tough enough.
I suppose I am obligated to reply to comments on my blog... though I am so quickly growing weary of comments that claim I am "young", "uneducated" and will change my thinking when I grow older...
Anonymous; would you say that to another 15 year-old who thought the same way as you and who was raised to think whatever their teachers taught them? Do you think that public schoolers recieve a wide view of all ideas and religions? Simply ask a public schooler what they have learned about Muslims... the answer you will most likely recieve is a blank stare from a child who hardly knows who a Muslim is.
I am sorry, but I have a headache and do not feel like reading comments that simply drone on and on about what I have already heard from many liberals...
so I think I'll just go to bed.
(And please guys; facts, and not sarcasm, are what we want our anonymous to experience, seeing as he/she does not seem to recognise the word "diplomatic".)
"lots of funny pictures too. might want to check it out."
Alright, I'll check it out.
"Yes, i do believe if you wholeheartedly support the military you should enlist. prove how much you believe in this war."
I'm going to make an assumption (please correct me if I'm wrong) and say that you're a social Liberal. If that is the case, then I would expect you to go to medical school and provide free health care to all who can't afford it. Then I would like you to stop driving (as that pollutes the environment), and really, it would be best if you just stopped breathing, and producing all that pesky carbon dioxide.
I would suggest you completely stop buying foreign goods as well, if you don't like jobs being shipped overseas. And begin providing abortions, free of cost if you choose.
Prove to me how much you believe in these things.
Anon, what is your view on the fact that the present islamojihadi's are expressing their intent quite clearly to fight all unbelievers untill they have established a world wide caliphate? Oh if you want refrences just type in "World wide caliphate" in google... that may open your eyes.
BTW I am not an American but have lived through a war myself and can quite clearly see the present danger... it is not American.
We really ought to colonize Iraq, subjugate the people, rule with an iron fist cloaked in a velvet glove, give them all jobs running their oil industry for us, and take their oil as payment for keeping them from terrorizing/blowing each other up.
They are obviously far too ignorant/reactionary to govern themselves peacably for long.
http://misoldierthoughts.blogspot.com/2005/09/promise.html
some recommended reading....from another perspective on the ground.
Anon-
So the war in Iraq has nothing to do with homeland security??? What about...
http://apnews.myway.com/article/20051008/D8D44LS01.html
"A Department of Homeland Security memo warned this week that a team of terrorists may have traveled to New York to put remote-controlled bombs in briefcases and baby carriages in an attack on or around Sunday. It cautioned that the FBI and Homeland Security doubted the threat's credibility.
But as U.S. forces interrogated three suspects in Iraq, New York officials said they felt even more confident about their decision to ramp up patrols and bag searches in the subways."
Al-Qaeda in Iraq...plotting to kill Americans in NYC. Tell me again Iraq has nothing to do with terrorists at home.
Well MDG this is 2005.
In Sept. 2001 - Iraq had NOTHING to do with terrorism at home.
And in March 2003 - Iraq had NOTHING to do with terrorism at home.
Only after we dismantled their gov't and don't have enough troops on the ground, and can't control the borders along the western region with Syria did Iraq turn into a terrorist training ground.
So yes, I suppose NOW, after our debacle of an invasion and occupation, Iraq does have something to do with terrorism.
Does that make YOU feel better to be right? because it doesn't make me feel better. It reminds me how uninformed and ridiculous George W. Bush's foreign policy has been.
Tell me, Anon, what do you know exactly about terrorists here in Iraq? What intel have you seen?? I have seen it. I have seen the documentation. We came here with just cause, and for you to say everything is a lie because you don't like George Bush or understand the importance of nipping terror in the bud, is an insult to MY fallen comrades.
Sorry MDG - I have a right to my opinion. I'm glad you have seen intelligence. That's more than the President has shared with the rest of our nation.
And I have had enough discussions with friends and family serving in various positions in the United States Army who have strong misgivings about what goes on over there. I am glad that you are so sure of your missions, but I also know that in the end, what have you truly accomplished? built a few schools? made some local families happy? Overall, the world is LESS SAFE because of the US invasion of Iraq, and just look around the world for evidence of that. London, Bali, Spain, and threat in NY this week.
But spare me that "i know more than you know" because you were there. I know soldiers that have been there and their opinions are very different than your own.
And the only insult to your fallen brothers is that our country is forcing them all to continue on without ANY DEFINED EXIT Strategy. That is simply an embarrassement to our nation. and your service. how many people died for us to "build a democracy" and find the elusive "WMDs?" Too many...that's all i know....
"In Sept. 2001 - Iraq had NOTHING to do with terrorism at home."
"And in March 2003 - Iraq had NOTHING to do with terrorism at home."
Try again. We've already dealt with this, so let me explain again.
There are two types of terrorists: the "grunts," who actually fly planes into buildings, and the "suppliers," who make it POSSIBLE for them to fly planes into buildings. Saddam Hussein was known to pay the families of suicide bombers, and supply and train terrorist organizations. Nothing to do with terrorism at home? Riiiight...
Let's make an analogy, and pretend that terrorism is a weed, the proverbial "stinkweed in our garden of life." To get rid of a weed, any good gardener knows it would be useless to clip off the leaves of the weed one by one; the only way to kill a weed is to destroy the roots, thus eliminating its ability to sustain itself.
Now, if terrorism were a weed, groups like Al Qaeda would be the leaves, and people like Saddam would be the roots, acting as the lifeblood of the terror system. Sure, "grunt" terrorists are dangerous, but they are made infinitely more dangerous by Saddam Hussein and people of his ilk. A guy who has WMDs and is known to supply terrorist organizations can easily supply terrorist organizations WITH WMDs, right? Therefore, doesn't it make sense that we'd take Saddam out, and uproot part of the terrorist weed system?
"Sorry MDG - I have a right to my opinion."
Yes, and sometimes, when the facts are all against you, that opinion is all you've got, isn't it?
"But spare me that 'i know more than you know' because you were there."
Allow me to call your attention to something...
"Neofacsist, given the fact you are both homeschooled, and 16, you really have A LOT to learn about the world."
Ahem. I'll leave you to make the connection for yourself.
"And the only insult to your fallen brothers is that our country is forcing them all to continue on without ANY DEFINED EXIT Strategy."
What was our exit strategy in Kosovo? Heck, what was our exit strategy in WWII, and what if we had waited until we HAD one to enter the war? But, I'll leave this point to MDG, who is more qualified to speak on the issue than I am.
"Overall, the world is LESS SAFE because of the US invasion of Iraq, and just look around the world for evidence of that. London, Bali, Spain, and threat in NY this week."
So these things were all caused by the Iraq War? Let me guess, this is all happening because Dick Cheney really just doesn't like Londong or Bali, right? Maybe he thinks Spain's stupid or has a grudge against the Big Apple?
Just because an evil lies dormant doesn't mean it doesn't exist, or shouldn't be dealt with.
Our exit strategy is clear, in my eyes. We will leave when:
A: The sovreign, freely elected government asks us to leave.
B: When the situation is stable enough and safe enough for the general populace.
There would be no worse thing to do than leave these people hanging in the breeze.
uh-huh....and who decides what will be a "sovereign, freely elected" government?
and WHO decides when it is "stable enough for the general populace"?
The problem is - that answer's not clear.
its ok MDG, i'm glad you like the Army so much and Iraq so much...no doubt, you'll get a chance to go back.
sure, the easy one.
What if they elect a fundamentalist Islamic state similar to the Taliban and THEY tell us to go?
is that alright?
Wrong - Under Saddam, Iraq was a secular state. Islamic fundamentalism is a byproduct of the American occupation.
They did not have "plenty of that under Saddam" - in fact, they had none of it.
Eh, Anonymous...
Meet RG.
A six-gun neo-con, in the house.
Your lies and ignorance is now dead.
I like dorks that walk the liberal walk and talk the liberal talk like you. It is so easy to make stuck on stupid such as you sing like an ostritch in a lions den, dawg.
Your buddies in Al Qaeda are losing.
Your buddy Soddom Insane starts trial in, 3 days. For the murder of 300,000 plus of his own subjects. Women, men, children.
What ya gonna do now, "chicken" "anonymouse"?
Man-up, (or at least try to man-up), instead of the old usual screw-up and respond, boy.
Jen, just wanted to correct your original post a little.
"All those who hate me (God) love death. Proverbs 8:36"
Your addition of '(God)' is wrong, it should be '(Wisdom)', as this verse is talking nothing about God. It needs to be taken in context with the rest of the passage where if you go to verse 12, you will see wisdom personified as the speaker.
I would like to leave you all with another proverb (25:21-23): "If our enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For you will heap burning coals on his head, And the Lord will reward you."
It is in showing compassion to those who threaten us that we are truely Christ-like, not by killing them, but by not giving them a reason to hate us and want to destroy us.
You can't fight terrorism by hunting the terrorists, you're just fanning the flames of their hatred.
B
You must be of one of those Liberal "Religious" types.
First of All, Jennifer was correct. You tried to cut God out of scripture and tried to replace God with something else such as wisdom by taking the text OUT of Context and trying to say that by doing so you are putting it into its proper context by going WAYYYYYY BAAAACK to verse 12.
You see, in order to try to pull such a foolish stunt you had to go JUST before verse 13 where the Lord ceases speaking of wisdom and starts speaking of Himself. Very, very clearly doing so for the rest of the chapter!
"13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength."
Also B, for you to take the command to love our enemies TOTALLY out of context is typical of liberal foolishment. God never told Christians to sit back and allow thugs, murderers AND YES TERRORSTS to slit the throats of our friends and family and gun down our children, or hijack airlines and fly our citizens into highrises in a calculated, cold blooded murderous act of terror!
God is Justice, God is Love, and therefore God demands that we take down evil and He is in the fight with us. Once our enemies have been subdued we deliver justice but until their day in court and then punishment arrives we deal with them with dignity until the day that their sentence are carried out.
B, your attempt to exclude God in the later half ot that chapter of Proverbs where He CLEARLY is talking of His own Glory from verse 13 on tells of your shallow attempt to subvert any credit due to the Glory of God which is THE most important subject of that chapter.
rg
If you look at verse 22 and following, you will see that it is not the Lord speaking, but a narrator, someone removed from the Lord. God is not the subject of that chapter, God's gift to us of wisdom is the subject. As proverbs is a book of wisdom it is fitting that there be mention of how powerful it is, and how great it is, and where it came from, it came from the Lord.
I never said we are to sit back, and let people slit our throats. I entered my comment to show that this verse is no way a justification for this war or any war.
I have yet to see a good rational for the war in Iraq, war on terror is a different thing altogether.
"You can't fight terrorism by hunting the terrorists, you're just fanning the flames of their hatred." B @ 5:06 PM
"I have yet to see a good rational for the war in Iraq, war on terror is a different thing altogether." B @ 4:40 PM
Oh My! One minute B says war on terror is fanning the flame. The next moment B says there is good rational for war on terror. Very, very mixed up. Can't decide.
Verse 36 AGAIN is regarding God - 36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul:... .
sin ( P ) Pronunciation Key (sn)

War is Vital in eliminating evil:

God Himself will Fight in the Final Battle against Evil:
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
