Dear Soldier;

I am an American citizen. Not just any American; I am a proud American. I take great pride in my nationality, my heritage, and the people that make this nation great. I may not be personally connected with the patriotic men and women who serve, and yet I know that it is for me that they often suffer and die. It is for me and all Americans that our troops are sent where no person in his right mind would like to end up. It is for those who support our troops that they would withstand the ridicule, mocking and sarcasm aimed at them by the secularists. They give their lives for my freedom, prosperity and hope for a liberated future. If I were to disregard this sacrifice… if I were to forget it or mock it, I would not be a true American.

Every blue and gold star that hangs in the window of an American hangs in mine. All brothers, husbands and friends that leave the comfort of home for a war zone leave behind one other friend… no, you may not know me, but I know you. I have seen your pain when a buddy is lost… I have heard of your worries for a family so far away. Even through the foreboding and degrading messages of the secular media I have received your message loud and clear, and I salute you for having quickly, efficiently and courageously done your job. Your opinions and hopes towards the progress in your mission is shared by people like me; we who are your extended American family greatly outnumber those who oppose what you fight for. Be encouraged:

A distant relative in Nebraska cares.
