Everybody panic!
It's been storming for the past couple nights here. I woke up at 3:00 and had to shut our windows. Then mom woke me up and we all frantically mopped and soaked up at least 20 gallons of water that had leaked into our basement. I remember when dad would go on business trips to Asia and everything would break; water would leak, toilets would malfunction... chaos. Oh well.
Yippee!!! Mom, Dad, Emi and I get to go see the President of Afghanistan at the university in Omaha where Dad works. Exciting!
I handed in my paper for the upcoming newspaper on our small town yesterday... I wasn't as happy with it but oh well.
Tomorrow is our annual Home School Fair. We are skipping school today to get ready for it; and to clean downstairs. Fun! :0

I bet your submission to the newspaper will do just fine. Just tell 'em I will be very unhappy if they don't publish it. I can be very persuasive. ;-)
