Nuetrality: never a good thing

"The State cannot be neutral toward all religions because all religious views or philosophies necessarily entail moral systems, and conflict with those of other religious systems. If the State were truly "neutral," it would enact no laws, for each law would penalize someone's religion or religious view or religious practice. Anarchy would reign."

- Gary DeMar, "God and Government, Volume 3"

The call from liberals not to make any religious preference in our nation in any way is outrageous, ridiculous, and unrealistic. Call it discrimination, but I will continue to pray and work for the overrule of pagan religions, and the continual rise of Christianity in this God's nation.

One of the biggest myths being spread today is that America was founded on the concept of 'separation of church and state.' In reality, that term does not appear anywhere in our Constitution (although it did appear in the Constitution of the Soviet Union).
The original intent of the 1st Amendment (which was not originally applied to the individual States)was to insure that the federal government could not give preference to one protestant denomination over another protestant denomination at the national level.
Although our founders differed on some theological issues, they all believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. They all believed that the Bible was the ultimate source of truth, and they believed that truth was absolute and unchanging.
Because most Americans at that time, imperfect as they were, tried to follow the basic principles of scripture, the Lord has greatly blessed America.
And yet, over the years, we have come to the point where very few professing Christians actually apply Biblical truth to their daily lives. Is it any wonder our culture has fallen so low? If God’s people don’t even take His Word seriously, why should the unsaved world?
We need to pray for a spiritual awakening in Christian families, and in our churches. I believe that God wants to send a revival to our nation, but He is waiting for His people to repent (II Chronicles 7: 13-15).

The Jews don't believe in Jesus and yet they are also a part of our Nation, what about them?
How about Islam, there are some mosques here in the US or do their rights not count?
Who's going to decide what is a "good religion" and an "bad"one?
Snake handling is another belief in some parts of the south, are you willing to take up that as part of living in the USA? There's alot more to think about that just what's been stated. What about the people that don't believe in God? What happens to them if you enact laws with a religious bias? Put them in jail in God's name?
