Meeting my twin...
Yesterday I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting my "twin", Anna Lofgren of Alabama for the first time in the 11 months I have known her. I remember stumbling upon her website, and after finding out how similar we are sending her an email titled "it's your twin!" and we quickly became very good friends. There is so much we share in common; our birthdays, our interests, our visions and hopes for the future... our families, character traits and struggles. There is so much to say about our friendship and what it has become to me, Anna!
I have never had any real, close relationship with anyone outside of my family until I met Anna... and strangely enough, I met her on the internet. I remember praying as a kid that God would send me the perfect playmate, a "twin", and it has been such a blessing to find a kindred spirit in a sister several states away. God obviously had a plan for our relationship, Anna, and I am so glad He brought us together. May I be an encouragement and blessing to you as much as you have been to me.

Anna and Jen, you girls look lovely!
I'm so glad that y'all got to finally meet each other, though I am looking forward to having you back, Anna.
Nice dresses.
Anonymous, why are you always tearing people down? Why don't you be a little bit more encouraging?
You'll feel a lot better with yourself.
Sounds like someone is a bit insecure.
I like the look.
After all...
It was in style for several hunderd years.
And there was a reason for that.
No, anonymous, there is nothing stupid about their dresses. What's so bad about 'old fashioned' ideas?
In our modern society, we have attempted to re-define everything, without God or the Bible. The result has been chaos. Maybe we need to give some of those 'old fashioned' ideas a try.
I wore my dress like that on Christmas Day. Soon I'm going to start working on a pioneer dress that I got fabric for.
Anonymous, I don't think that I'm blind and I don't want to argue. The simple fact is that our tastes are different. I really like the old-fashioned look and evidently you don't. But is there a need to name-call over that?
I'm a young girl and I hope I'm not being disrespectful (if you're an adult, that is), but why say such mean things? Try encouraging and building up people, not tearing them down.
How exciting that you both finally got to meet! Thanks for sharing some pictures - I especially like the one of you two in the pink and purple dresses :)
Hello Jennifer,
First of all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...
Second, it is so much fun when you find your twin that is not a blood related to you...
Both of you look like angels.
God bless you
It was so much fun, Jennifer! I'm so glad God allowed us to meet "way up there" in the Nebraska! =) I really like our matching dresses; they're so elegant.
Oh - and could you please email or mail me pictures? Thanks!
Hey Jennifer, remember me? :) I haven't commented in an age, so I thought I'd stop by and say that I really enjoyed this post! The dresses are so pretty and feminine. I've always wanted to have one that! In fact I have a pattern that looks rather like yours, but that I just have get around to sewing. :) Well, ttyl!
This is kinda freaky because I was just reading about a site that's going to start in march 07 that uses biometric face matching to find twins. They want to create a worldwide database of faces so anyone can find their twin or look-alike. I read about it at http://www.ilooklikeyou.com See for yourself! Travis
Beautiful dresses! :D It must be wonderful to have a close friend like that! :D The Lord bless you!
