Wait a second- I know them!

Several days ago I sat down to flip through the latest World Magazine, and saw that there was an article on 6 interviewed bloggers. “Okay, that’s nice”, I thought. But as I turned to the right page my jaw dropped. “Oh my goodness!” I exclaimed, though no one was around to hear. I knew those people (indirectly)! Teenage homeschooled bloggers

Alex and Brett Harris of the Rebelution

Jonathan McCarthy of Christian, Think!

Kierstyn Paulino of Politically Incorrect

Tim Sweetmen of Agent Tim Online

and Robert Wood of Pushing Back the Frontiers of Ignorance

were the featured writers in the article. (Sorry, but to read the whole article you'll have to become a member!) Wow; I was excited. My family regards World Magazine as the best Christian magazine out there for current issues and news, and I was thrilled to see the faces of my peers and fellow bloggers in such a respected magazine. My sister claims I didn’t calm down for three hours, but when it comes to seeing such teens praised for their influence and work in society, I see that as a reason to get excited!

May we, as home-schoolers and young people for Christ, continue to set our standards high, and thus gain the respect of our elders.

I was so surprised as well. I turned the page and saw the big picture of the twins, and was like, "what??" It's so neat!
