"Give me a Band-Aid and I'll be okay."
- So eager was he to get back into the fight along with his buddies, Army Sergeant Micheaux Sanders said this to medics in 2004, after being shot through the arm during a firefight in Iraq. Sanders was awarded the Silver Star for displaying remarkable heroism under the heat of battle.

Getting shot through the arm sounds painful.
Ditto on Raben.
and then, of course, there's what this soldier has to say:

Private first class Justic Cross said regular deaths of their colleagues had demoralized the troops, while dangerous patrols made them constantly fear for their lives, which was "mentally draining."
"It drives you nuts. You felt like every step you might get blown up. You just hit a point where you're like, 'If I die today, I die'. You are just walking a death walk," Cross said.
Yes Anonymous, there are some soldiers that feel that they have been shot at one too many times. But that is not the point. The whole point of the post is to show the bravery and courage that many soldiers show while in a combat situation. Yes they are scared, but that does not change the fact that there are those that are willing to get back into the fight so that they can help protect their fellow soldiers.
Do you just want to argue for the sake of an argument? It seems that no matter what The Patriot posts you always have a sarcastic or caustic post to try and start a firefight.
Why?
Just want to make sure everybody remembers there are two sides to every story. and trying to get patriot to take off her rose-colored glasses.
Don't be to hard on Anonymous, he keeps people coming back to read what Jen has to say.
Debates are more interesting than plain explanation.
ditto on raben, rd. 2.
