Why we are at war... with the liberals

Why are they so illogical?
And why do they so strongly and angrily protest against a cause in Iraq that so obviously needs to be fought for? This is a question that I have been struggling with. They say we need to get out of Iraq immediately… they say that things are going terribly over there… our troops are, of course, ill equipped and unable to accomplish anything in Iraq. WHAT?!?!? Even if we didn’t have a reason to be in Iraq, our troops are very well trained and perfectly able to fight and accomplish whatever their Commander would have them do. So why is it that the liberal media and die-hard democrats keep protesting the war despite our cause?

It's all about President Bush
Yep. It’s all a silly, selfish argument in attempt to get in to power. Isn’t it always power that is the root of evil? That’s always the way it is in the movies, and sadly, we are experiencing such a struggle for power in our own country. They hate to see a Godly, smart, successful man in control of America and so will do ANYTHING to throw him out of office. Lie about him, call him names, and denounce every step and decision he makes for our country. If he decides that we need to go to war, well then it’s so easy to declare him a bloodthirsty, heartless dictator who cares for nothing but oil. Sure, they were there on 9/11, reporting all the painful, bloody, tearful details on how terrorists murdered 3,000 Americans, but if OIF is a way to get Bush out and the liberals in, then they are more than willing to throw away all logic and reason to make it happen.

Supporting a liberal is not supporting America
If you ever thought that Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore, or Hillary Clinton were ever concerned for America’s well-being, think again. Does Cindy Sheehan give inspiring speeches on the history of America? Does she promote freedom and justice for all people? Is she a patriot? No! It’s all about Bush and how terrible he is. (They have yet to give us a valid reason as to WHY he is so terrible.) Those who love power hate anyone who takes it away from them. These liberals are not interested in the welfare of America. They are not interested in you, your kids, or how you live. But they do want you to vote for them and get them into power, so that they can take America in their hands and declare themselves worthy of ruling the best piece of land in the world. So do the world a favor; don’t vote for Hillary Clinton.

America is losing it’s moral standards
It’s disgusting. It just makes you want to get sick when you listen to the childish and silly accusations they make against our PRESIDENT. Fifty years ago you never would have said such a vile and wretched thing against our President. More than once I have had the mind to walk up to a liberal and let them know that Bush is in the Office and there’s NOTHING they can do about it! But they will not stop until their search for power is satisfied. And even then they will continue to rant and rave and degrade America’s most moral people. Those who protest outside the rooms of soldiers who have given their entire lives to America are not interested in them. Those who scream accusations at President Bush are not in favor for life for the American people or the Iraqi people. In fact they are demoting it. They have brought down low the meaning of life, and it is ruining America’s spirit. Does this anger you at all? Just a little maybe? If you sit staring at this screen with blank eyes than I have pity on you. We should be extremely angry and intolerant towards what the liberals are doing with our lives and futures. We need to fight back with equal strength. Evil cannot be defeated by pacifism or pleading. Evil must be FOUGHT until it is completely and utterly defeated. Thus I declare war on the liberals of America, and I WILL NOT stop fighting until we have won.

Your comment, which takes the Lord's name in vain, will be left up for others to respond to and then deleted.

George Bush does a lot that you do not see or hear about. You can't even begin to imagine all the decisions and action he has to take for America; a President does more then talk and George Bush has doen a wonderful job taking action against the terrorists. To deny this is to deny all logic in the war on terrorism; the only way to take care of radical Muslims is to kill them. (This also is an honor for them to be killed in battle,so to them we're kind of doing them a favor!)

The majority of the democrats who are set to destroy America are liberals. They are the ones who call for "peace" and "people's rights". Those poeple I call liberals. Hillary Clinton is definitely and liberal.

Our country has every right to watch people who could possibly start an unecessary and dangerous riot against America. I am all for "spying" on anti-war groups; heck, I'd be elated if they'd spy on me!

You obviously have not much information to back up your accusations. How has Bush not accomplished anything? What would you have done when faced with war and ugly terror? Would you be able to give a levelheaded speach after trying to keep the world at peace? I look forward to your response.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Its the 4th amendment. it used to mean something.

"this is embarrassing and sickening." Anonymous

What is embarrassing is someone who is afraid to use even an alias because what they say is embarrassing.

What is sickening is that Anonymous is most likely the same one who makes on-line lewd comments to minors. That can be determined very easily.

No wonder they don't want anyone to know what they are doing, they have a lot of sickening things to hide.

What is a lier is Anonymous. One who claims not to be liberal or Democrat and then immediately launches into the talking points of the most extreme of liberals and democrats.

America has been attacked and thousands of Americans have been killed. What is embarrasing is how uneducated and ignorant Anonymous is.

All Presidents during war time not only authorized domestic investigations and serveilance, one or two even locked up people of a certain race during wartime, the Japanese Americans during WWII and were never impeached for it. However, Bush has done such a wonderfull job of preventing another attack, the Anonymous's of the world have fallen back into a sense of false security, the same sense of false security that allowed the planners and actors of 9/11 to train, communicate and then launch 9/11 while in the US! And I would not be surprised that the greed that debased individuals such as Anonymous holds for power is so strong that they support tearing down the domestic surveilance that prevents another 9/11 and that would allow Americans by the thousands die again in another major attack would make Anonymous happy, as a chance to put the President out of power and them in power!

What is embarrassing and sickening is "chicken" Anonymous. Typical lazy liberal/democrat that just goes around like a zombie parot echoing what ever the screaming Deaniacs tells "chicken" Anonymous to sqweal. Who would you want to protect America, a President that does what it takes so that another 19 terrorists will not train and communicate in the US or these jokers that want to tear down domestic surveilance so these terrorists can pull this off again?

Scripture says pray for your leaders. So as one can easily see the lost and the living dead, who have no eternity waiting for them after their few short years are coveting any kind of power they can get during thier short time on earth and will go to any disgracefull length to get it.

"chicken" Anonymous, you lost, you are still a loser and as long as THIS PRESIDENT is in the Oval Office, you will continue to be a loser, and as people watch you continue to claw at the President like a maniac, more and more Americans will continue to walk away from your corner to ours looking back at you with DISGUST!!

RG please calm down, the sadest thing is that you have no evidence to support your arguments so you have to resort to namecalling. And also, your working off of assumptions when your trying to degrade anonymous's character without know anything about him. Its really immature.

I think you have a wrong idea of what the civil government's job is. You said this: "Bush has done such a wonderfull job of preventing another attack"

It is NOT the civil governments job to prevent wrong from happening. It IS there job to prosecute those who have done wrong.

If the government really wants to prevent another 9/11 they should give us all back our rights to bear arms.

You don't need mock anonymus in such a manner. It is not going to get you anywhere. And like thepatriot said- PLEASE DONT TAKE THE LORD'S NAME IN VAIN! While we all feel that anonymous takes this argument too far, it's not necessary to call names or make accusations... I am sorry if my post seemed more emotional than diplomatic; let's remember that diplomacy and calm reason is what sets us apart from angry, yes, liberals.

Your heated debate has inspired me to write a post, but sorry! Right now I'm too busy building up on stuffing and chocolate to work off in 2006.

I dont hate President Bush. I just think he's not that great of a president.
for 1.He beleives in huge Government.
2nd He said"Muslims and Christains worship the same God".
3rd.I still see women going to the abortion clinic.
4th. He has appointed more homosexuals in office then any other president.

Anonymous said...

don't you understand that (1) abortion is a legal right in this country. whether you like it or not, its true. therefore women CAN continue to go to abortion clinics and its NOT somethign that the President can change. only Congress and/or the Supreme Court. (2) what he meant was that both Muslims and Christians worship one supreme being. they just think of him differently. (3) what homosexuals has he appointed to office? I'm not sure that's true. I can't think of any that he's appointed to anything. Except maybe Condoleeza Rice - she may be a lesbian. (4) yeah - he believes in a huge intrusive gov't.

her is proof that bush favors islam and homosexuals.

On Islam
Speaking of muslims, "I believe we worship the same God," George Bush, as quoted in the London-Telegraph newspaper, (Nov. 24, 2003). http://www.conspiracyworld.com/index0069.htm

In October of this year, at the 5th annual Ramadan Banquet at the White House, President Bush said, “We must also firmly oppose all who commit evil in God's name . . . I have great confidence in the future of this nation, and in the future of the Muslim world . . . As we celebrate this special Iftaar, we renew the ties of friendship that bind all those who trace their faith back to God's call on Abraham . . . Ramadan is the holiest time of the Muslim year. According to Islamic teaching, this month commemorates the revelation of God's word to the Prophet Muhammad in the form of the Koran. For more than a billion Muslims, Ramadan is a time of heartfelt prayer and togetherness. It is a time of fasting and personal sacrifice. It's a time to give thanks for God's blessings through works of charity.”

On Homosexuality
On October 14, 2003, Bush sent a letter to the founding congregation of the Metropolitan Community Church (a homosexual, transgender and bi-sexual denomination) in Los Angeles on their 35th anniversary. President Bush wrote: "By encouraging the celebration of faith and sharing of God's love and boundless mercy, churches like yours put hope in people's hearts and a sense of purpose in their lives. This milestone provides an opportunity to reflect on your years of service and to rejoice in God's faithfulness to your congregation."

I am horrified. i don't understand how you can be so stupid and ignorant to the rest of the world. there are more important things than trying to convert the world to your christian, army-loving, home schooled cult way of life. aren't you supposed to love everyone and yet you decide to have prejudices against people who are different from your way of living, which is an extreme form of separating oneself from society and experiencing things that are natural to a normal way of life.

Anonymous said...

I thought we were talking about president Bush.

Anonymous said...

Wow! This is really...umm...interesting.

Anonymous said...

Well, Anonymous, since you are off topic, which is not all that is off regarding you, you are getting a response to the following:

"there are more important things than trying to convert the world to your christian, army-loving, home schooled cult way of life." Anonymous

No blog administrator here or the commenters have attempted to convert you to being a Christian or home schooled. If you can produce one real instance, then do so. I emphasized REAL because you have a tendency to say things that are not even close to being true.

However, having read the posts and the comments, you are experiencing a conversion experience.

Now, allow me to explain why.

When you get around people who are Christ centered, you have opened yourself to the only thing that CAN convert you. The Holy Spirit. What you have heard that you have now acknowledged having heard or felt is Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit knocking at your heart's door!

No one ever has or ever will convert anyone to Christ. By being in the presence of Christians, you have also come into the presence of the Holy Spirit, whose only purpose when it comes to dealing with you initially, is to point you to Christ. And if you fail to head that, you will simply be abandoned, possibly eternally, because only YOU have the power to accept or reject Christ. That is a gift from God Himself.

Just don't go around blaming Christians, what ever your response is... Only YOU are responsible for your decisions.

:-)

Now, one last thing, since no one is pushing anything on you out of respect. You should exercise our decision to accept Christ in our lives and not go around dissing them for doing so. But whether you do or not, will not shake our faith, becuase our faith is a rock and is eternal.

:-) :-)

What really bothers me is that your argument for liberals being wrong is that they're unpatriotic, or stupid, or whatever. Instead of merely trying to discredit someone else's position, why not back up your own?

Just a thought.

The Patriot said...

Here is one very valid reason why liberals who oppose the war are not patriotic. A patriot is one who supports a cause worth dying for; a patriot is someone who is willing to do whatever needs to be done, however painful, to protect his or her country and people. I have already stated in past posts how necessary it is that we are at war with the terrorists; thus it is unpatriotic (and just plain blind if you'd like me to put it that way) to protest against a cause that is the only way to truly protect America in this day. It is especially not patriotic to put down those who are giving their lives for us.

Clive Dangerously said...

Here's where I think you're wrong; very few people got upset when we went after Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. There was no doubt in Americans' minds that they were responsible for 9/11. But with the war in Iraq, many people felt that one of the major reasons for going to war(That Iraq was in cahoots with Al-Qaeda) was wrong. Thus, from this viewpoint, the war with Iraq was not protecting America. And you don't have to agree with a war to support the troops.

Clive Dangerously said...

I'd say most anti-war protests aren't really anti-war protests (at least in the U.S.); they're anti-whoever-the-president-is-at-the-time protests.

Politics of a Patriot said...

WOW, Jennifer! You inspire and/or provoke an awful lot of commenting!

I can't say I agree with your relgious views, but I don't condemn you for them--that's WHY we live in a free country!!! All else aside, I think people need to look beyond personal issues. You say in the "About Me" section that you started this to express your gratitude for our soldiers. We should all take lessons from you. Keep up the good work and don't let the Lefties discourage you. :)

Politics of a Patriot said...

Oh, and I forgot to express my agreement that it is IMPOSSIBLE to support our troops without supporting their mission.

You wouldn't go to your child's baseball game and say, "Son, I want you to win," and then cheer for the other team! Or say, "I support you, Son, but I hope you lose." It's preposterous.

Clive Dangerously said...

I don't think most (American) opponents of the war want us to lose; lsoing would mean massive casualties on our part and if these pascifists are legit, they don't want that. I suppose what I'm really getting at here is not reasoning the rationale of anti-war folks, moreso defending my own stance. While I don't think we should have gone into Iraq(at least that quickly), it's ridiculous to assume that we can just drop everything and leave. I wish we didn't have to, but realistically, we need to finish what we started.

Anonymous said...

The War on Terror, Is NOT just Al Qaeda! It is the cleaning up of the Middle East where the people who flew plains into buildings that killed men, women and children (there were many children on those airliners that were flown into the US buildings on 9/11) came from.

And to go after anyone in the Middle East who also killed Americans prior to 9/11.

Saddam and Al Qaeda and Zarqawi, Saddam and Zarqawi (at first) were not Al Qaeda, but they did kill or tried to kill Americans, just as Al Qaeda did, and killed innocent men, women and children, just as the hijackers did on 9/11.

The President of the United States decided enough was enough and people were going to be chased into caves and spider holes who have killed Americans.

This President is telling the world, you kill my poeple, I am coming after you with all I've got.

And if anyone does not think that Saddam Hussien, who killed hundreds of thousands of men, women and children in his own country and when we tried to protect his own people with no fly zones for 10 years, what did he do over and over and over? Shoot missles at Americans trying to protect his own citizens.

What happened?

Justice was finnaly served! And unbelievably, people like clive dangerously protest the stopping of justice being served!

The original post, by thepatriot, which I read in my feed reader a few days ago, sounded interesting. I found it interesting that a so-called Christian would project such an emotional argument to gain support for our country's leader. I find it interesting that a young, seemingly clear-thinking individual has already strongly made up her mind that Liberals are evil, and Conservatives are perfect and Christian.

When I saw the comments, I was much more shocked. I saw a few anonymous comments, asking intelligent questions and giving logical statements. I also saw a very rude someone named RG immediately labeling him as an "evil" liberal, and calling him a sick person, a lier, uneducated and ignorant, and a chicken. I later saw him accusing anoymous of being infatuated with Jennifer.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the sick person here is RG. Instead of presenting logical arguments, he slings mud. He accuses people of being too chicken to name themselves, and yet "RG" is evasive at best and really no better than anonymity.
I do not believe RG's comments were fitting with a Christian blog.

Anonymous said...

After reading your blog I am glad I am not "mennochinese approved", as you like to call your brand of liberalism, anti-Americanism. Apparently since no one seems to care to comment at your blog. Good luck with your new movement, it will not stand the test that Paul said that Christians should put others teachings to.

Clearly, tests frightens you doesn't it? Especially if the test pits your "movement" against the scriptures! But no, you would want those litle things banned too!

hose,

You really should do a little Bible reading sometime in your life.

1) We are ALL born sinners.
2) God is faithfull, and those who do engage in sin, end up feeling the negative results of their sins.

But that is not enough for you isn't it. You have this archaic thought process, that if anyone sins, everyone else should be punished too.

There are several nations that if ANYONE is found with a Bible, they face death by firing squad. So YES, GOD BLESS AMERICA.

For allowing us to own a Bible, and two, refusing to burn those who don't own a Bible at the stake, and lastly, for NOT adopting your view that EVERYONE should be punished for others who exercise the right God gave each one of us to either follow Him or to reject Him!

You are sad that Christianity is not as anti-apostate as Islam is towards anti-Islamists! You sound like the Taliban!

Anonymous said...

RG. Bush has been givin a job. right now, it is leagal to murder babys. Bush can stop the murdering. but no. He is afraid of man more than God. also. He can say that if you have a homosexual marrige, got to jail. but no! he says this.

Bush sent a letter to the founding congregation of the Metropolitan Community Church (a homosexual, transgender and bi-sexual denomination) in Los Angeles on their 35th anniversary. President Bush wrote: "By encouraging the celebration of faith and sharing of God's love and boundless mercy, churches like yours put hope in people's hearts and a sense of purpose in their lives. RG. you said that god forgives sinners. He wont forgive them untill they ask for forgiveness.
it does not matter what anybody does. wether in hell or in down on earth they will not be held guiltless.

And one more thing.
I'm not a taliban, I'm only a 13 year old boy who loves God and hates sin.

akauffman,

So, you deleted every comment on your blog. Not only mine, but all of yours. A blog where you are promoting a movement whose aim is to tear down an established Christian religion.

You then turn around and come over here to spew lies.

Here is a name for you, nouns that frighten you, that have a tendency to drag you into the light, the noun being LIBERAL, a relative to the name EVIL. Running around trying to put down people who are firm in their Christian belief and then trying to impose your self as a Christian is sick.

Seems you got real upset that I also went to another blog you estabished that supports your "movement" and mentioned that you guys have nothing but questions, and no answers, it was the blind leading the blind. OF course you deleted THAT comment as well, and raced over here with your putdowns of RG. I am a warrior. God's Word is my Armor. Truth is my sword. I will cut to the chase with the best word that describes you. Deal with it!

hose

You cannot lock up Gays. You cannot lock up Muslims. Following false doctrines and also living a life of sin is the result of various reasons.

You are a teen. There are many teens who grow up in homes where there is not even a bible. They sit and watch stuff on TV out of Hollywood, or go to the movies. And you know what is being shown these days. These teens then adopt those life styles that are an anti thesis to God's will. What you do is you let them know of God, and then let the Holy Spirit do its work.

The best weapon you can have is NOT just listening to Preachers and Sunday School teachers, but simply deciding to read the Bible all the way through. Research things that you need clarification on via the internet, the dictionary as you are reading the Bible. Arm yourself, because many of the lost will demand deep answers. You need to spend a lot of time studying and understanding God's Word.

As, unfortunately the latest post at Arthur Kauffman's site devoted to tearing down an established Christian Church, they have many Questions on how to do that, but no answers.

God's Word has all the answers to the questions of those who want to know God's will. And most importantly, a church, built on the Rock will withstand the fury of those intent on tearing it down. Knowledge of the Word makes them powerless.

AKauffman,

Hmm... Hose, I love your enthusiasm, but I'm afraid you're going about some things in the wrong way. For example, Bush has done pretty much everything in his power to end partial-birth abortion, including signing into law the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act. Now the ball is in our court; we must impeach the activist judges. There is nothing more Bush can do.

And for the record, I don't think Bush is the greatest President ever either. However, I do respect him and I believe he was better than the alternatives in 2004 and 2000.

Some Anonymous Coward,

"aren't you supposed to love everyone and yet you decide to have prejudices against people who are different from your way of living, which is an extreme form of separating oneself from society and experiencing things that are natural to a normal way of life."

I fail to see the prejudice here, except in your post, where you refer to Jen as having a "christian, army-loving, home schooled cult way of life." Christian, yes, and she supports the military... She is homeschooled, sure, but cult? Go crawl back in your hole, dude. You're too sheltered for a discussion like this.

Clive,

"they're anti-whoever-the-president-is-at-the-time protests."

Thus they're anti-the-commander-in-chief-of-the-US-military, right? Thus we're back to the military and morale issue.

"but realistically, we need to finish what we started."

I'm with ya on that one. I just don't think we can get out quickly... Once we pull out, Iraq is gonna be in major trouble no matter how well we have it set up, so if we only halfway do the job, then our soldiers will have surely died in vain.

RG,

"The War on Terror, Is NOT just Al Qaeda!"

Bingo! Great point! Good points in all of your posts, really... You need a blog, man!

Arthur,

"When I saw the comments, I was much more shocked."

I'm guessing you haven't been privy to many other conversations here... If you were, then you would be aware of the various profane and disrespectful trolls whose only purpose is to flame this blog. We're tired of these trolls, and have a markedly lower tolerance for them than for other commenters on this blog.

"domestic spying case is worse than McCarthyism. this is what the Nazis did. Not Americans."

Are you really prepared to call comments like this one "thoughtful?" Hyperbole, ignorance, and a nice little association fallacy to boot?

Please.

Also, RG accused anonymous of being infatuated with the blog not the girl. Though if he had said that Anonymous was infatuated with Jennifer, it wouldn't have been too much of a stretch, what with the "lewd" comments that anonymous has left in the past.

MVB,

"First of all, what RG said happened to be the truth! I know many of you don't like to here it! Secondly, if RG is rude then what are you? Do you think it is "kind" and "Christian like" to call Jen a "so-called Christian" and RG a "sick person"????? You are a hypocrite." (emphasis mine)

Very true, MVB. You deserve a cookie!

Hose (again),

RG's right, we cannot lock up gays or Muslims. The Constitution prevents that. Again, I like your enthusiasm, but incarceration is not the best way to deal with a problem that is solely spiritual.

Mayhaps you'd like Worldview Academy? It's a Conservative Christian Leadership camp for teens; I've been once, and will go again this year! It's amazing! I have a link to it on my blog, if you care to check it out.

Okay, that's all.

*wanders off*
