Quotes

It is strange how often one may hear a thing, yet never have really heard it. The heart can hear only what it is capable of; but alas for him who will not hear what he is capable of hearing!

-George MacDonald; The Shepherd’s Castle

Twelve pieces of bread a day keeps the cancer away!

2 pieces of bread? That won't be hard for me to eat - I love bread :)

*blink* Aye, indeed, and remember: trees are for emergencies only.

It's twelve pieces of bread, and Jen means whole wheat bread.

I realize I’m not capable of posting any serious quotes but I have had my share of really dumb/funny ones lol like

a good friend will bail you out of jail but a great friend will be sitting there in the jail cell saying “that was awesome!”,

and

it IS possible to be homesick for a place you've never been to,
and

Depression is merely anger without enthusiasm

MVB; well, not the stuff at the store! We make our own bread; whole wheat stuff. Sure, they call that stuff at the store whole wheat, but I read that it takes like 8 loaves of store stuff to equal one (real) whole wheat loaf. So you better start eating!

Thanks for the quotes guys. :)

I would like the bread if it had jelly on it....is that allowed?

I think healthy applesauce would be fine...or maybe natural honey... or tofu spread.

I'm sorry "frazzeledsister" but Tofu spread is going a little far!! I never could handle tofu real well though. You can get a lot of scary quotes off of inspirational flip calendars...way scary.
Oh and on the bread note, white and wheat bread from the store are just textured air. There is nothing better than freshly milled grain turned into a delicious loaf of bread. Now I'm hungry.

Snicker- I know- most people consider tofu to be the equivalent of a cyanide pill.

I'd prefer the cyanide pill, it would make the obituary a little bit more interesting...:)
