Michael is a sniper in the Army, who was recently nominated for the Bronze Star. It was an honor to meet one of the heroes from our small town.

Just for the record, Michael is not your ordinary joe. Snipers are some of the most intensely trained soldiers in the Army- very few people are qualified to do what he does.
Just a question; do you guys all have to update to blogrolling gold or whatever to have more than one blogroll? It says I have to pay for more than one... arg.
I also thought you'd be the person to ask to please pray - one of my friends (family friend) is in the army and will most likely be sent off to Iraq soon. He was just married two months ago and she is also in the army.
Also, my best friend from high school is in the Coast Guard Academy! She is loving it! Is your email still the same? I can send you pictures!-
He's a sniper? Cool! I know quite a few people who are or have been in the military. My uncle is a nurse in the Air Force, My grandfather was in the Navy, and my youthgroup leader is in the reserves and got sent to Iraq last year.
Jennifer, My name is Micah Derry, Brett sent me your way, you have a great blog going! I would love to talk to you via email about your blog and the soldiers in Iraq. My email is: iamspokenfor@gmail.com. Drop me an email some time!
Hey Jen, my name is John DiGiorgio I to live near a small town in Nebraska. It brings great joy to my heart to see you show such strong support for our troops. I myself am planning to join the Marines and become a sniper. I would love to talk to you more through e-mail jdigio_08_usmc@hotmail.com hopr to hear from you soon Semper Fi
I know a guy who went all the way through Marine Sniper School.
Just after he finished they changed their minds and reassigned him to Marine Intelligence. Now he's works in cryptogaphy. He's done a tour in Kuwait and is currently on his second one in Iraq.

I think it was an honor for him to meet you, Jen. Look how happy he is in the picture, with his arm around your shoulder.
Next to the pop machine.
(Inside joke)
That's so exciting Jennifer :)

That's cool! :) I met a guy once who had sniper training...I don't think he was a "sniper," though.
*waits for comments blasting Jennifer for supporting evil warmongering baby-killers*

Okaaaay, should I know who he is?
Snipers are some amazing people, but they need lots of support... Good work, Jen.
