THE AMAZING LINK

Well, I have gotten a few links from other bloggers that have been so nice (it's always nice to be linked to) and always get me to feeling loved... :) but not many posts about me turn out like this.

So yes, SHE deserves a link. Hey, what about a post? So here I go; my official post on sisterhood and the girl who made it possible for me to experience it.

We're actually very different. Some sisters do each others hair, wear each others clothes and talk about boys and dating for fun together. Emily and I do not like to share our clothes, would rather mom did our hair and... well, we don't talk about boys in the way most girls do. In fact, we try to think up ways to overcome our great discomfort around boys so that we can have a normal, intelligent conversation with them... but that's another story.

She is an artist; I'm a ballerina. She hates it when I give my health speals; I am interested in health and fitness. She is quiet and more reserved; I am openly emotional and cannot keep an important thought to myself for more than a minute. She likes to read; I would rather do pointe. When it comes to music, movies, clothes, colors and hobbies we are bound to head in opposite directions. We do, however, agree that we would both be in a very sad situation if left alone in a household full of boys without the other sister.

In the evenings, if hyped up by our dose of chocolate, we often sit and talk about blogging, world issues, our soldier pen-pals and what we do (*gasp*) if a boy should happen to want to talk to us; we would probably run.

Sure, we have our tiffs; if not about how she is washing the dishes, then about where I am putting my school books. But every time one or the other leaves for a day, we find ourselves thankful for the sisterhood we can experience and enjoy....

THUS THE AMAZING LINK THAT YOU MUST CHECK OUT, POST A MILLION COMMENTS ON AND PUT IN YOUR FAVORITES.

I love you too, Em.

Well my sister is only 2 so she disagrees with about everything... usually with crying and yelling at me :D but I can't wait until she is older.

Obviously, that's your parents fault for homeschooling you, you poor sheltered child... ;-)

Most guys don't have that problem; they don't really care much for intelligent conversation anyway, so they will babble like idiots in front of girls just like they do around other guys.

Me? Well, I tend to babble like an idiot too, but at least I wish I didn't!

I really wouldn't have guessed from your blog, neo, that you babble on like an idiot... :) you seem very intelligent to me.
And for some reason it's easier for me to talk to babblers and idiots... (makes me feel smarter :0).

LOL Thanks Jen. 'Tis true, though, that I tend to babble in front of some girls. Not all, but some... and I'm starting to get better about it! Now if I can just stop babbling in front of girls I like, then I'll be doing great.
