Jen called!

We just got a call from Jen, which was a real surprise because we were told that she would not be allowed to call home. She called at dinner time, so we almost didn't answer, because usually if we get a call at that time it's a salesman. So the phone rang. Mom said: "Every time it rings I wonder if it's Jenni" Me: " Oh, it can't be her, she's not allowed to call home." Dad picks up the phone: "SWEETIE GIRL!!!!!" Me: WHAT? Anyway we were very relieved to know that she's alright. She cried and Mom cried and the boys didn't even notice she called. Apparently, the girls that she is "counseling" are 13 or 14, and all she has to do is tell them to be quiet and to go to sleep in the evening. She went tubing, and it is hot and dusty. She enjoyed tap class, and is working hard. Only three more days! I heard that it is going to be 97 degrees F on Saterday and humid. Bummer. And one little note- the space shuttle lauch was canceled. Bummer.
