A Tribute To My Ballet Teachers...
I think most teachers don't realize how much of an influence they have on their students. Especially when they are teaching something the students love to do. I know my teachers have had a huge impact on my life. Here's a short list of the teachers I have/had; my mom, my dad, my violin teacher, my ballet teachers, God, and the list goes on. I am VERY blessed to have had such wonderful teachers that share my same beliefs and interests. I just don't know what I'm going to do when my current ballet teacher can't teach me anymore... she is SO wonderful and understanding! I am also very fortunate to have such fun fellow pupils who share the same interests I do... ballet class is my social club and it's such a wonderful place to get encouraged and psyched; because my teacher is just the image I want to mirror when she dances solely for God's pleasure. It was so neat to watch Chariots of Fire when he said to his sister, who was skeptical of his dedication to running, that when he runs he can feel God's pleasure. Isn't that so cool? To know that even if you have a bad day or don't think you did as good, that you are giving God pleasure when you use your talents for His glory. And so to Vivian and Mrs. Spykstra, who have inspired, encouraged, pushed and challenged me, I want to say THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU!
