Thank you God for;

Little brothers who keep life interesting

Older sisters that keep us in line

Good health

Soldiers who put up with ungrateful citizens

Forefathers who knew a little about sacrifice

Pain... that brings us to our senses

Old, beaten up cars that are just perfect for unreliable teenagers

Forgiveness

Brothers and sisters in Christ, who become close friends in a few days

Protective fathers

Courageous mothers

Music, that lifts and inspires

Dial-up internet… to teach us anger management

The Bible

Mornings… in which your mercies are ever new

True love; love that knows sacrifice

Unheated bedrooms, that make us tough

Homeschooling

Dance teachers who love You

New opportunities and challenges

Math... that we may learn to work through problems, even through the tears

War, and turmoil, and unrest… that we may never take life and prosperity for granted

Godly politicians

The strength to be different

Skirts, and dresses, and fun yet modest clothes

Messes and junk to teach us how to clean!

Patriotism that never dies

Rain and rainbows

Christian filmmakers

Gentleman… and gentle ladies

The beauty and perfection of the universe

Your never ending grace and pardon

May we never fail to give God all the glory and praise for our many blessings...

That was definately food for thought.
Another thing that I believe we should be thankful for is our religious freedom. In many nations around the world, our brothers in sisters in Christ face arrest, torture and even death for choosing to follow Him. We need to remember them in prayer(see Hebrews 13:3).

I started to try to do this, too, and it is one of the most humbling and gratitude-inducing things you will ever attempt. You did a good job--with a touch of humor and noting that we should even be thankful for our trials (I loved the dial-up internet reference), but the list really could've been much, much longer (or more-detailed, anyways). We really do have an awful, awful amount to be thankful for.

Now that we are past Thanksgiving, we enter the Christmas season (another good time to be thankful). I'm sure you all know: there is a battle over Christmas going on right now, and I and four others (so far) have a blog going called "The Christmas Watch" (thechristmaswatch.blogspot.com) to monitor this battle. You all are welcomed to become teammembers--we need as many as we can get to keep it complete and comprehensive!
To learn more, go to the site. If you want to join, comment on the most recent post and include your e-mail address so I can invite you.

Thanks...

Thank you God and Jesus for hearing my prayer to let my dizziness go away. My dizziness has reduced very significantly. =)
