How is an abortion performed?

One of the most common types of abortion uses a high- powered vacuum cleaner to suck out the unborn baby, piece by piece, chunk by chunk. In another type of abortion, the "doctors" reach in with forceps and rip off a leg, then another leg, then an arm- all while the baby may still be alive and fighting to avoid the forceps. Then the abortionist rips off the other arm and reaches in to crush the baby's head so the doctor can pull it out.
The most horrific procedure is the partial birth abortion, a late term procedure in which the abortionist moves the baby into a breach position. The tiny body's backside faces his executioner, who pulls the feet out, and then the rest of the body. Everything but the head. Understandably, the baby is now writhing in pain at all this. Now the doctor punctures the back of the baby's skull with scissors. He puts a tube in the baby's skull and sucks out the baby's brains with a vacuum. When the skull is largely empty, the abortionist pulls what is left of the head out of the womb, and the partial birth abortion is "successful".
- That's it. I can't type anymore. My stomach is churning, I need to get up and walk. I'm done for the day.

That is sooo sad and reall gross it made me want to puke... If those girls don't want to have babies then they shouldn't get prednant!! Ugh
This is blatant right-wing propaganda. Most abortions are medicinal, a pill is taken which terminates a pregnancy. The fetus is the size of a pea and has not yet formed limbs not to mention pain receptors. This is a painless procedure for the mother and the "baby". You are subscribing to a sexist point of view, determined to surpress women and their right to choice. Abstinence is the only way to avoid pregnancy and no matter how careful you are, sometimes it's unavoidable (for example, in cases of rape).
Babies who are born to parents who don't want or did not intend to have them are significantly (more than 50%) more likely to be involved in crime and drug use. Twenty years after abortions were legalized, the crime rate in the United States dropped substantially.
You guys are totally ignorant. Don't start on tirades if you don't know what you're talking about, jerks.

35 % of abortions are partial-birth. That is... the mom decides she doesn't want the baby very close to it's birth. The procedure explained above is then preformed. Also, the main method for killing a smaller fetus is by sucking it through a needle. Drugs are to expensive. Finally, ever heard of adoption?
You sound like one of those kids who's parents never spanked you as a child. Grow a pair and take responsibility... whether it's your fault or not.
(BTW... when I was 8, I stole candy from my friend's halloween basket. I guess that means I'm in that top 50% of crime and drug users.)
